Biographia

Writer, Photographer and Producer

Originally trained in visual communication, receiving a Fellowship in Photography at the Photographic Gallery, Southampton University, under the stewardship of Leo Stable, and part of the development of the John Hansard Gallery there. Since this time my interest has been in collaborative projects using photography and film, visual arts, oral history, writing and digital media. For many years I worked with Jubilee Arts, winning a Health of the Nation Award for the project ‘Asthma Attack’ with Sandwell Health Authority along with a BAFTA as producer of the project ‘Lifting the Weight’ with Geese Theatre. You know, they’re surprisingly heavy.

First record bought: With The Beatles. Second record bought: Ride a White Swan, T.Rex. Favourite writer: Edgar Rice Burroughs and Richard Brautigan. Can’t decide.

Hitch hiked from Milton Keynes to Mumbai once. Never quite recovered.

Likes to scribble in meetings. And cooking.

Has quite sharp teeth.

Lives in Warsaw and Birmingham and Dorset and other places
now and then.
